personally I think the west is arming every raving looney in the desert to overthrow Assad without getting there hands dirty, and Russia are helping an elected leader as written in most of the war law

The Middle East has thousands of years of tribal and family allegiances. Through marriage , political or military superiority. it is the way of the Society. The low levels of Education in Saudia one

The middle east is a bloody complicated place. Yes, to the outsider, the people are basic and simple but, they operate on a system of morals and honour that has become alien to us now.   Of course

The Yanks and the Zionists threaten Iran on a weekly basis for the last 37 years they want to invade its their choice but be prepared for the response.they get.

They are well out of the way so it wouldn't bother them, seeing as though we are their lapdog it would be us that suffer for their actions.

Some amount of wars kicking off right now. Wonder who's gonna make a monumental blunder first and cause it to go out of control.not that it would need much do that. Seems some are hell bent on that anyway.

Thing that gets me those responsible will be far from the hostilities while we have to witness more kids being pulled dead from their already bombed out homes. It does expose how callous and lack of empathy our leaders have.I consider myself a bit hard hearted but even i find those scenes sickening.

Heading towards the old battles of the bible, and also from history in the old Middle East where the aniahillated each other, there could be some truth in it after all, didn't they dig up old remains that wax so badly burned that they think it came from nuclear tech? Ancient nuclear war?

Battle for Mosul in Iraq has begun, that will be a bloodbath when they get in amongst the buildings !

It won't it all a load of bollocks they'll melt away with barely a shot fired and appear as US backed freedom fighters somewhere else, just like what just happened in Dabiq recently.

Never thought i would ever hear myself say this, but after seeing the horrendous scenes in recent weeks. If i could i would gladly give one of these kids and thier mother a place to stay. Maybe im getting mellow in my old age i dunno but i really feel sorry for them. One lad going to school ( well if you could call it that ) hit by an air strike killing his brother and father.

dont know if it actually sunk in to his head yet or he has seen so much of it has become desensitise to the carnage around him,but all he wanted was to go back to school. It certainly makes you realise how fortunate we are in this country.

Im not for one minute suggesting we should open our borders to everyone but there are certainly cases where we could do a wee bit more.

Oh and yes im aware its not our problem and we have troubles of our own in this country, but even on our worse days in this country our troubles dont even come close to what some of these kids suffer on a daily basis. Russia has been taking liberties for a few year now not just in syria but sll over the place. However we stand back in fear of causing a war. Well wasn't the whole concept of NATO born to avoid such things! Yes russia would be a tough foe but definitely not unbeatable.

In fact the Russians only take heed to a tough stance.

you have to remember we to during WW2 were in a tight corner and other nations came to our aid. Even taking our kids in and protecting them. Surely we as human beings regardless of nationality have some kind of responsibility in doing something to help them.

You do realise we have done a lot more damage and unsettled these countries a hell of a lot more than Russia?

Russia not unbeatable? What are you smoking? If we ever went to war with Russia then it's likely we are all goners...

One of the biggest problems with the Middle East has been Western powers destabilising nations over there. If you want to help refugees, increase the amount of aid for those in refugee camps in neighbouring countries.

Let's be honest it would be far from stable either if left alone. I agree though, we should put more time and effort into getting our own country back on track first and foremost.

I do believe an iron fist is needed to have relative stability over there though.

Russia has oil / gas and Europe by and large does not.....when push comes to shove, the Russians know they are sitting pretty with the US and it's Europe that will get thrown to the wolves.

So should Russia.
