Jax13 251
Finally got myself in gear and finished the new shed and introduced my 3 with the new pair I've taken on for a friend. One of the newcomers is being a bit of a drama queen and is screaming at my original 3 whenever any of them go anywhere near her but she has come around a bit over the last couple of hours and is settling down a bit. Jax13 251
Cheers folks. It's a 7x3 bike shed from bought online from shedmonkey (no affiliation to them other than a happy customer) I was looking for a bigger shed than the chicken coop they were in beforehand but didn't want a 'normal' shed with a door in the end as it wouldn't give them enough daylight and would get too hot. I saw an 8x4 with double doors on the 8'side which looked ideal but was a little expensive then stumbled on these bike sheds. I was originally going to make it with a removable partition across the middle for when / if I breed off one of my Jill's but figured she would likely be better off in a completely separate hutch anyway so went for multiple platforms instead which is working well and keeping them active charging around after each other. If I get around to it, I might put the big run I made last year next to the shed and run a pipe through to it for an outdoor area as well but they've got loads of space and seem pretty happy in there for now. I think I'll put a little canopy over the top of the opening just to help keep the rain out a it but other than that I'm really happy with how it ended up. Quote Link to post

forest of dean redneck 11,968
Well that will keep, them stimulated, I found that with these online companies the quality can be poor, I bought a shed off someone handling a deceased pensioners affairs,he had bought it online an died shortly after it had been delivered so it had been stood in the garden for bit, I gave the £60 she asked for it ,bought it back but the shed was basically batten frame with feather board covering, chipboard floor n roof it's lasted 3 years at most ,developed a leak,I think a cat scratched of felt and it's half rotten now,I've put it down allotment for storage other week. Jax13 251
There are a one really cheap sheds out there but these are not bad at all, certainly better quality than B&q's ridiculously over priced tat 1 Quote Link to post
