The yotes are to quick for an average bull x, they've crossed with wolves from what i saw on the TV.

I'm no lurcher man but from what I saw they ran at a steady pace until they were pressured and then stepped on the gas. The dog yotes were up for it, one in particular came to meet the dogs.

Rippem like I've said before, if you do get over you'll have your eyes opened, the size of the game and the earths they live in are on a much grander scale.

This thread went a little bang bang crazy very quick... Any time i have spoken with Brian he has always been extremely helpful and a true gentleman. Like him or not I do think he has produced some good dogs over the years and has contributed a lot to the patterdale, no need to slag of an old man that's not here to defend himself. Despite liking a nice small tidy terrier I do like the bigger patts we see a lot of these days, but I do think some are becoming to big. There are patts weighing over 30lbs now, that's the same kind of weigh as a staff and a small pit. But as already been said her horses for courses...

Its not about the dog killing the yote but the dog luring the yote in range for the gun .Its a dog trained for a purpose I believe .

I'd imagine rippem knows best what type he needs, he's the one working them ffs, lads on here telling people how to go about there business on another continent, comical bunch sometimes. As for nuttal, an opportunity arose to supply a market with a type required and he was first off the blocks, a clever man no matter what some on here think. If you disagree with what he has done or how his dogs have developed to what they are today then simply put it out of your head and move on.
