This is my mates half cross. Does alright on the bunnys for a big dog...

At what point does a bull cross stop becoming a bullcross?, quarter, eigth, sixteenth?

Then surely its a cross of whatever else is predominantly in its breeding with a bit of bull?

These bull cross regular daytime hare dogs, what proportion of bull was in them?

Whats wanted from the Bull is, gameness,and attitude. There attitude and mind set is to bite things. They like to bite. Thats why they improve catch rates,with great strike. They are also very clever. Not all running dogs are as keen to use there teeth. Apart from some srains of bull have very good bites and strong necks there isnt much else desireable physically from the Bull side,except maybe it can temper the exaggerated muscle of a Greyhound. The magic is to take a bull dogs mind and put it into a running dogs body. You just need a set of legs to transport the Bull to within striking distance of the quarry. The way to do that is not best achieved by breeding 3/4 greyhound 1/4 Bull because what you get is just an old fashioned Greyhound.

ps imo bullxs are not hare dogs.

The Bulldog is one of the fittest breeds out there, stamina will be added to the mix without a doubt.

i have been around 3/4 grey 1/4 bull bitch called " Heidi" and she does well as an all rounder........ she has put more than her fair share of large edibles in the freezer and they have certainly not been fence bouncers......

 

she is a good honest bitch and has read alot of game there last rights!

Surely a bull cross is only a bull cross if its only got bull and sight hound in it?

Unless its a full bull put to a lurcher or a lurcher put to a full bull?

No matter how many times bred, a half/quarter/eigth bull x greyhound put to a lurcher without bull in it wouldn't be a bull cross IMO

 

Other than that its just a lurcher with bull in it.
