I'd like to hear more about 'Taqiyya'.

Look it up it was something taught to the world by the British

I tend to not get involved in threads like this. I've found, particularly with such emotive subjects, it's better to keep my mouth shut and my eyes and ears open.

Also, it's good to get info/views from different sources.

 

Also, as you say, there's good and bad in all so, I believe, better to take time and judge the man.

It's hard going but, reading the bible and the quran shows up a lot of similarities right from the beginning. It's as if the 2 have deviated from the same original book over the centuries..

 

I'm not religious. I just find the subject and the people involved fascinating.

I know what you mean but, in my opinion, any large organisation will be corrupt and deceptive to some degree.

Indeed, the upper echelons in any religion/government/company will have their own agenda and skeletons in the closet.
