roybo 2,873
... and that's why Salukis need that floating action. would you say as well, the reason they have good feet,is because they (saluki/ xs are norm light boned dogs (45-65lb) dogs, they just have better feet ray you can get 70 lb saluki crosses with good feet. greyhounds feet are probably ok on a slower dog though Quote Link to post

But its his gate when he runs his long bounding stride cover ground quick, its not like say Bryn who got a faster gate so his feet hit the ground quicker, if you see what i mean lol. I run ground last year and every running dogs had feet injuries can see why there was so much game about Quote Link to post

shaaark 11,513
100 yrs ago Bird ' Greyhounds were 40-60lbs weight. Coomassie only 44lb when she won the waterloo cup in 1877, and I think 44 1/2 lb when she won it the year later 1888. And just having a look now at some waterloo cup results, Penelope II only 41 lb! 1886 runner up. Master M'grath only 54 lb. Seems like it's only relativly recently that you get these huge dogs of -90 lb. Edited August 6, 2016 by shaaark 1 Quote Link to post
