Unisex Changing Rooms Agree/disagree

Recommended Posts

None of the cubicle's at the local baths here have doors that lock there curtains... IMO safer if a weirdo was to push there way in there is no door to lock giving you a chance to get out.... tbh weirdos will do what they do because there weird

wee jimmy and his ma went in one of them changing rooms, there was a big woman standing with her big bush hanging out, jimmy says mom whats that the ma was a bit embarrased and says thats a sponge jimmy

Well I have a knob like a horse and don't really care who see,s it but I'm banned from the unisex pool, because it's considered a trip hazard,

id say church is more of a dodgy place than a swimming pool changing room

Francie & Len both disagree with other peoples logic on the matter, they both think they are right. Yet one thinks the earth is less than six thousand years old and the other thinks insulting people on the internet makes him a big man. Both really need to get a grip and stop living in the Old Testament.

Communal areas such has been described are probably the safest type of area for the children. A mother or father can put three four or five children in cubicles and watch over all the cubicles from the outside at the same time. Could they do this with separate changing rooms? We all, bar those two, know the answer to that.

I used to go swimming a lot when kids were younger, I must admit I prefered unisex changing rooms most usually had a couple of family changing rooms as well when you have more than one kid with you,in my opinion its easier instead of me going alone into womens changing room with the kids and dad having to go into the male changing room. We made a point in going to swimming pools that had a unisex changing room it was easier , but never seen anyone not using a cubicle in the changing rooms thank god some things should not be on show :icon_eek::blink:

Tess that is normal, but what you have to remember is that Francie and Len are not really normal.

Wonder how often they go swimming themselves though :hmm:

There is a good few to many perv's going about , but staff in the pools and camera's around it kind of make it a bit safer, there are plenty of cubicles they all have doors and most lock . years ago when I was a lot younger there were no doors just a curtain yes things were safer then or was it ? think there was probably still loads of pervs then to just wasnt recognised or highlighted way back in the day :cray:

I think public places like swimming pools are pretty safe these days and off course you should always talk to your kids to make sure they understand how to stay safe, but not scare them for they can still have fun.

Thats the problem you think, go an look at the stats for unisex changing rooms, len is right take the acess away, prevention is alot better.

See when I took my kids swimming myself I hated it when they started getting older cause from the age of 8 my son had to go into the male changing rooms by himself and I could not keep an eye on him, and I couldnt go in and check on him if he took a while coming out, so I guess it can work the other way around to eh .. plenty of weirdo's out there that like wee boys too

Thats why if I was going swimming with them myself I went to a pool further away that I knew had unisex changing rooms

So why not go to the normal pools, an bring your son in ladies changing rooms, your not making sense, sure hed be in the unisex rooms with you anyway, I dont get you.

Ffs johnny give it a rest, of course theres women paedos, stop changing subject, men are most likley to do this are they not?

If your happy with it, ok, im not, an my children will never be in a unisex changing room again.

Safety aspect aside (I don't actually think how you described is anymore dangerous for kids),the reason this is done is to appeal to trannys and other weirdos.

They won't go in the men's changing room and the women won't want him in there's,so it's usually the disabled if they have one,but that could be a discrimination claim waiting to happen.

Like Tess said, children will be safer when supervised with both parents at hand, and a unisex changing room with cubicles does not sound so outrageous when given a bit of thought .

Tell the truth Francie, it is because it upsets you religious principles is it not? I am not saying that you do not care for the well being of your children but your attitude to a safer environment is frankly prehistoric. If you take your daughter and son to the pool with segregated changing rooms how are you able to look after both as they get changed? The simple answer is you cannot, for you to say otherwise would be a complete lie.

there are multiple ways horrible things like that can happen to a kid . PE teachers in school have access to the changing rooms when they are getting ready for lessons . Would you shaperone your kids when that is happening

It's more of a cost cutting exercise than a political one.. Jeez guys, are you lot ever out of your tin foil hats?

How would that cut costs mate??
Because they only have to design and build one changing area instead of two and can cut down on fixtures and fittings like showers etc. Also it's probably cheaper to provide heat, light etc in the long run.

Nah malt the unisex changing room I was in yesterday was twice, if not bigger the size in noemal changing rooms, so that theory is out the window mate.
