Watching an RAF Hawk going over at low level just now. Having friends round for drinks and BBQs. Looking forward to the fishing comp. Taking the boat out for a bit of mackerel bashing. Bad things. Bad back so I can only walk at 1/2 mph and it takes me forever to stand up. Shitting myself about having an injection to fix it. Really bad things. Mother-in-law invited herself over from Ireland for a couple of weeks. All in all, the good is outweighing the bad so far. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It has barely stopped raining since spring, though I think it rained all winter as well. The only animals which seem to be doing just fine are slugs and snails, though I guess frogs won't be feeling any stress either. The dogs are, I think, getting webbed feet, and I've just ordered a snorkel for when I have to walk them down flooded paths. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
