Yep, that was my thoughts about it all.

Kids who experience that kind of pressure never become individuals in their own right. Thierry Henry had a critical father. If he scored a hat trick, his dad would say you should have scored ten. He reckons his dad led to his success but f****d him up as a person. There's something gullible and innocent about Dubois. He has no spite about him at all. If he he blasts a man out in a few rounds he looks sensational. But the longer bouts go on, the more self doubt sets in. He's Like M Tyson and like Foreman against Ali. No mental strength. Daniel is a painfully shy kid.....i mean im not the most compassionate person in the world especially around " the other lot ".....but i watch his interviews and see him trying to shout and growl at people and it quite upsets me as the lad just isnt that person......innocent is the perfect description.....it sounds cruel but the kid is thick as shit,if he had his way he'd just sit in his bedroom playing computer games and let his Dad do all the talking and selling of fights......when his back is against the wall he instinctively looks for a comfort blanket....and thats his father sadly.......little boy in a mans frame.

Seagull 463
I see the excuses are coming now, Dubois father threw a house party on the day of the fight. It's not like Daniel was double dropping and on the bag is it? Lol

jukel123 9,294
Looking forward to the Itauma v Whyte fight. Lots of questions will be answered. Whyte has been around the top ten rankings for a decade or so. Has he got anything left especially in terms of punch resistance? Can Itauma really blow him away like his previous opponents? How will Itauma react if he's hurt? If he's tired? If the fight stretches into the later rounds? Or if the fight is not going his way? Itauma's team obviously know more than we do, but, for me, Whyte could be a big banana skin for the kid. I'm surprised they've taken this fight. Whyte looks in terrific shape, he's a seasoned, highly _rated pro and he doesn't leave anything behind in the ring. It's a shit or bust fight for him. If he loses, it's unlikely he will be offered another big pay day. Gonna be very interesting It's refreshing how interesting the British heavyweight scene is at the moment. It used to be something of a laughing stock. Nobody's laughing now. Itauma is the heavy favourite with the bookies. Whyte is 7/1. Worth a punt? I read the other day that Whyte has been knocked out in sparring, I don't think that should be leaked from the gym...but... it looks to be true, you'd be a bit worried considering how heavy handed Ituama looks if his punch resistance is on the wain? I'm looking forward to it as well mate, its the right fight for Ituama at those stage imo, I hope he comes through it in style as I like what I've seen so far and it's a lad you could see going places.
