Dublin Airport...hares ..!!

Recommended Posts

f**k me, there's been millions of words written on the various hare species (and sub species if you're talking about the Irish hare) and there's many clubs attended by 1000s of spectators and still you get the silly myths flying around.

English track rejects ?????? Muzzels because it would be over in seconds ??????? I've heard it all now.

see how fast the hares are when u put 1 off them big english plodders in behind him lol

Irish hares may be related to mountain hares but on farmland they run pretty much the same as brown hares do. Even on mountain terrain I'd say Irish hares run better than mountain whites. Just my opinion but I've run a variety of ground and all three species.

How do the Irish hares run compered to the uk ones .how do the differ in runing styles

they try n straight line a dog ,them english hares turning back into the dog, turning when dog lengths away

The irish is very different to their white cousins....... :victory:

Spot on mr Darcy.

Could be that jigsaw, or could it be because they're all English track rejects barred for fighting, after all we all know how good the irish are at starting fights, though seldom good enough to finish one lol

You must be forgetting the specialist pugilists with their petrol hardened hands

Makes me laugh when the irish lads bang on how good there hares, there's a reason the English dogs fetch more than ones that stay in Ireland

Because the English coursing men are greedy b@stards maybe

We have no hares here atall, but there is 2 places both happen to be small airports why is this ?

Land management. There are very strict rules and security as to what activity is carried out in the places where planes land and take off. None of those activities effect the hares, and so they breed and prosper. Just a happy by-product of airports.

Wasn't meaning to be a clever shite. Thought it may of been a genuine question. My mistake. The dangers of relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of whiskey and reading stuff on THL and jumping in. When will the people who are in charge admit that brown hares in England have started to become rare since the ban ? There's more chance of me giving up the whiskey !
