delswal 3,819
The best bull cross out there won't be getting talked about on a public forum. That's s fact Couldn't agree with you more Gaz. I went to visit a pal not to long since and he had two bull x in his kennels, the kennels were excellent in them selves, which to me gave an indication of the quality of the dogs in them. True to form the dogs were in tip top condition battle hardened and coats so shiny you could almost see your face in them, and them dogs never get a mention unless your fortunate enough to be in the man's yard or a friend on the end of a phone. The only downside to these dogs was one thing, and a big thing in my eye, they were fcuking Welsh bred, shame but the dogs won't no any different. Oh and the hospitality down there was second to none, well I think it was, I could not understand what the fcuk they were saying for two days. Quote Link to post

I've been around the country a little bit and visited some top lads with top dogs that never get mentioned on here. And that's a good thing for them lads. Sometimes a one off and sometimes a repeat visit. But like you say hospitality is usually fantastic. No bullshit. Just humble lads with decent dogs and decent ground. Quote Link to post

Moorside 642
Im running on a genuine 3/8 5/8 dog hes not a big thing but hes a game little fella il try and put a pic up of himi don t like the big types to be honest. Half crosses 23 or 24 the 5/8 was 24 also. nice handy typesyeah ive had a few big types mate had some big lads some were alrite then you get the big clumsy ones they always take alotblong to mature ive found could justvjust be me though where I work my dogs the quarry are in smaller fields I never really like to have anything bigger then 25tts I like something thats got a good take off and loves to hit cover Theres some massive impressive looking bullxs about but I dont think its necessarily the case that you need that sort of size animal to do the job. Ive seen a halfx bitch no more than 23"ish work regular and shes absolutely lethal. Quote Link to post
