What the fucck were they doing in Falklands no right to stake a claim there, same old same old with British army.....

That really is ridiculous

I'm as anti-imperialist as anyone but the Falklands have nothing to do with imperialism, they were unihabited before the British settlers arrived and they've been the sole inhabitants since. They even had a referendum recently asking whether they wanted to stay under British rule, 99.8% voted Yes. If you respect democracy and the right to self determination you have to accept the Falklands are British.

The British government had a duty to protect the British citizens on the Falklands when the Argentinians invaded and they did just that. Even someone like me can see that the Falklands conflict was an entirely just war.

We may be polar opposites, politically, but I would whole heartedly endorse every syllable of that, mate. A good argument, well made. Edited by Blackbriar

The French were the first to colonise the Falklands in the 1700's before then they were uninhabited and didn't belong to anybody ... I don't think they have ever been Argentinian ...........

They were passed between France, Spain and Britain, never Argentina.

In fact they were settled and ours before Argentina was even a country.
