This is a recent article written by Alan Tyer .   Alan is the Chairman of the AWL , some may of read a more streamlined version in the Countrymans Weekly.         The Association of Lurcher C

I was involved in the start with the other club but through work commitments and my wife needing 5 operations this year I just didn't have time to give to another project so I pulled out fairly early

Hunting is not a blood sport it's a sport that's in your blood ! Happy hunting

See it says every 3 years the commitee has to change barring two members. How will that work?

Dodging the question giro? How will it work when in 3 years 3 of the 'executive' committee have to be replaced?

Its pretty straight forward fella :victory:

The commitee are not indefinitely in position.

Hope this helps you out

so the original square wheel will be happy to let go of the reigns :hmm: hard to believe given hes still there after, remind me again how many years, and ffs give the council of hunting crap a rest
their rules say two members of the executive committee (their words not f***ing mine for sure) can stay in place, so he will stay and just swap his cronies every now and then

the rules(2) states after 3yrs 3 of the committee will stand for re-election...it does not say what position they will be?

and on a committee the Chairman does not have a vote unless there is a tie and then the Chairman has a casting vote

Sir Johnny Scott will be attending the next meeting of the Council of Hunting on behalf of the AWL in March.

He urges that You visit Your local MP's surgery or contact them by letter, to see their view on the Hunting Act 2004 .

We will never get another chance with any other government so its time to act Now.

AWL members will hear how things are progressing.

Its a good offer and folks should take that up...

From the 6th of April 2016, all dogs must be microchipped and registered to an approved database by the time they are 8 weeks old.

For every dog that is currently not microchipped, you will have until 6th of April to get them microchipped and registered on an approved database.

If a keeper of a dog which is not microchipped gets served with a notice requiring them to have the dog chipped, they will have 21 days to do this.
