Blackbriar 8,569
Later this morning Victoria Derbyshire is looking at Britain First (BBC2 9.15am), then tonight there's "White Supremacy", examining the KKK in America (BBC3 9pm) - part of a series covering similar "issues". On the downside, its presented by that tw4t, Reggie Yeats. Don't expect balanced, objective journalism, mind you !! Edited September 28, 2015 by Blackbriar

Blackbriar 8,569
The "Who are Britain First ?" piece was nothing more than 15 minutes of interviews with a couple of muslims, an ex-member and several known opponents......with a couple of sound bites by Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen.....all put together by a clearly biased reporter ! "Who are Britain First ?" - let's ask the imam of the largest mosque in Luton.......BBC journalism at its best !

walshie 2,804
Is this whole "far right" label supposed to put people off wanting the best for their country? KKK is "right of centre". Wanting what's best for your own country is perfectly natural.
keepdiggin 9,566
what about the black panthers?

I think it is meant to deter, yes....when it fails, they trot out " extreme right" and if that doesn't work, they'll resort to "neo-Nazi".......
BGD 6,437
Orr MAYBE they use the "far right" label because thats what these groups are?
gnasher16 31,602
Without wishing to get into a squabble of any sort......whats wrong with being far right .....that is in some way acceptable about being far left ?
Malt 379
Funny thing, I was taking a Finnish crewman to the airport earlier and we were talking about various things. Apparently Finland have just voted in a 'far right' government because they were getting pissed off with the same old shit all the time. People are starting to turn to the extreme ends of the spectrum all over..
DIDO.1 22,864
It's been taught for so long that it's right bad left good, it's now part of accepted fact. Most people in the UK have right ish leanings but we can't unite at all, everyone has a different view of who's right....people on the left will always support the left option unquestionably. Exactly gnash it's just a label, if people flinch at being labelled with it I'd say they just don't have the courage of their convictions? I've got no issue with being labelled "far left" because it's an accurate label. Just like "far right" is an accurate label for Britain First types.
