A dog walker died when his dogs were attacked and his wife hospitalised by a pack of wild boar in an Italian park. The head park ranger called for a cull on previous occasions but nothing was done. He said it was waiting to happen. Italian prosecutors have started a manslaughter investigation. Will that ever happen I the UK with the boar population here? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

RIP old fella sad and ridiculas way to go.. I once had a guy work for me who was American came over here when he married an English girl. Anyway he was much older than me and served in Vietnam War after leaving college. He said he feared no animal snake, spider, cat BUT he was petrified of wild boar. He once gave his platoons position away by unloading a full magazine into a wild boar that spooked him in the jungle. Fortunately for him he was the LT.
