Rake aboot 4,936
They cannot enter your premises unless you invite them or they have a report of an animal in distress. If you are at home, then they cannot enter under any circumstances without being NAMED on a warrant, and with the polis in attendance. Tell them to bugger off. Say the words " I am removing the implied right of access to all SSPCA employees" and make them agree that you have, after that they are not allowed on your property because they can be instantly arrested. sounds like something would say to tv license guy It`s exactly what you would say to a TV license salesman.

RossM 8,149
I wonder when all the cases that they submit to the PF get thrown out if they can then be counter done with wasting police time? Or some other charge that may put them off pursuing stuff like that instead putting money to good use.
dillydog 8,517
Just from my experience, I was never given any chance to challenge any warrant, I had a look in the back of a police van just before I got taken away. Once I opened a door they were in and I was placed under arrest, once under arrest then it was seconds before I was in the van and away. The warrant named the leading officer and "others" no one specific so no slip ups. The best advice I could give you is have your house in order before it happens, veterinary records, writen permissions and so on. If in any doubt get legal advice before it happens

Quarter bull 240
You have the right to record them, so if they knockat the door get your phone out an record as above, same with tv man, as said above, let them know your filming for your own protection, an tell them to get of your property, even when cops are there, works a treat, unless coppers have a warrant, but keep filming atb
TOPPER 1,809
just put a sign on the gate -- implied right of access is denied -- you can download a copy of google or youtube then they have no right to come on your property and if they do video them and sue them for trespass
