Bosun11 537
As pups all of mine play with balloons regular, start with 'em part blown up and work up, don't shield 'em from any loud stuff and you'll find they'll be bomb proof as adults.
BGD 6,437
Never had a problem with any dog I've ever owned. Dog should feed off your reactions, if you never make a big deal out of them they'll never bother a well socialised confident dog.
dare 1,103
Mine barked at first almost as if for a reaction so ignored her n she's alright to be honest
Cliff Ray 185
They take there cue from you. My mums's dog reacted terribly to fireworks for three years and she was always comforted and attempts made to tried to calm her down when fireworks went off. Then one year I was there being mauled by her (as I always thought we should fight to the death) when the fireworks started. I told her to shut up and she immediately started attacking me again. After that she never took any notice of fireworks at all.
bracken boy 584
mine aint keen but they ok just stare in sky with the colours ov them, if anythink its the whizzing noise that they dont like more.
tb25 4,627
Well mines gonna have to get use to em.carnt stand the dog hairs enylonger lol
Mister Gain 1,764
Would honestly like to see them banned, except for public events, like they do in Australia. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just for bonfire night, but around here it starts about mid september and continues into the new year. F*ck knows how they can afford them. Years ago it cost me a tele when the dog got round the back of it and tried to crawl up its own arse and knocked it over.

Wildling 520
My other Russell dog who's older doesn't notice the bloody things and I never make a big deal out of any load nosies really and its usually quiet at mine so all that bollocks about them taking a cue from you doesn't wash with me. The bitch however is different kettle of fish and not just with Fireworks ether, Thunderstorms even distant ones can set her off as well. Although nether of them give a toss at gun noises when out and about??? I tried the Piriton Tablets and they did seem to work cheers for that bit of advice Shepp.

mushroom 14,163
When I have a pup I like to tie several bangers together then attatch them to the pups feet, light them, sit back and enjoy the show. Not only does it get the pup used to bangs it's also funny as f**k
