Brigzy 1,298
I'm an old man now, and proudly remember the '66 team. Just sitting here watching England v Norway, and although I follow football , I don't recognise a lot of the England team; is this REALLY the best we've got ?

Lab 10,979
By from youth level putting more emphasis on the physicality and strength ' height athleticism side of things before kids who can actually play better football and express themselfs That's why we shite We letting better footballers go by the wayside from a very young age in favour of strength and height. How's your basketball team getting on?

Id say academies bringing through average foreign talent in preference to local talent would be as good a guess as any............if i had my way clubs would not be allowed to sign kids on from outside of their local area, then lets see where we all stand...........but thats never going to happen.
Wildling 520
Out of interest how many of the young lads that play for the clubs junior teams eventually get chosen to play for the main team and would you say the foreign players are given a preference or do they just want it more?
