this poor oul mutt went to a chap I get some digging work from,he was first given free to him,a few weeks later a call to say take the dog back,hes a nuisance.At 16 weeks old how could it be a nuisance I ask ye.... Now the dog was kept in an old barn away from the home place and with another lurcher,he was a bit nervy to say the least,so I took him back and did a lot of ground work with him,feeding him by hand and getting him used to cars passing and simple every day stuff he hadnt experienced,then a chap came onto me and his 2 mates bought 2 of the pups,so I though a bit of friendly rivalry between the lads would make sure he was taken care of and brought up right,.........a week later,the dog is brought back,the landlord told his tenant that 1 dog was enough in the property so here hes back again,and as you see hes still there.hes the only pup out of 11 that was fecked about,except for 1 pup that a dick head killed with a shovel cause it was crying a bit at 9 weeks old,he only had it 4 days,but enough on him,i dont even want to think about that clown.so he sleeps with the shepherd now and has a charmed life,I can tell ye one thing though,I WILL NEVER AGAIN BREED A LITTER OF LURCHERS, im buying in from here and now.

You need to be alot more careful where your pups go in future.....i hate hearing stories like this....poor pups.

Definitely better off giving the pup to a friend that's what I done [BANNED TEXT] my pups from my bitch . Ain't worth having scum bags round your dogs . Ther only be after sussin out ya place and there's more dogs bein chorded than ever .

Keep it for now and work with it as once the season starts you can bet your bottom dollar someone will loose a dog or have one layed up and be a genuine dog man in genuine need of a good dog better to go to someone like that I think good luck though

well,i knew the 1st lad well and he is still a decent bloke,he was not the right man for the dog,had too much going on at the time.the 2cd lad was recommended to me by a bloke i knew very well and he is still a good man to mind a pup,its just as a tennant he wasnt allowed to keep more than one dog,something he didnt envisage at the time he took it,The ashole that killed the pup is my digging partners cousin.......again I expected it to be taken well cared for.Im not a mind reader,I didnt forsee a problem.I went and refused 4 people pups as I didnt like their attitude and I did my best to get proper homes for them..In the future there will be no pups to go anywhere as I wont be breeding ever again.In fairness 2 out of 11 pups not getting a fair start isnt a bad result.

strangers dont get around my house or dogs,all dogs parted by me were met at garages/away from my house after a few conversations on the phone.....most of the pups went local to me anyway and a few good lads from here took some,of which im still in contact with and have days organised for the winter coming for some sport.
