gnasher16 30,872
1800 mtrs to a mile, roughly a mtr to a step, so i'll give you that...that's some anal roadworking there lol! dedication at it's finest... What an ice cream eh !........it was before the days i could afford treadmills so the river bank it was ...thank god for Tuffpad remember having my old dogs trained to fetch and retrieve....would walk them far enough to empty out, then take them to this nice grassy hill. would stand at the top with two balls, throw one down the hill, dog would run down and fetch it back, as he dropped it, i'd throw the second...and so on and so on... Yokel Cor yeah i remember all that...2 hard rubble balls and you,d try to get the dog to drop it 4 or 5 yards before it reached you so you could throw the other one and the dog wouldnt break its stride ......the f**k up came if you threw the second before they had dropped the first.............funny days ! Themoocher 231
Before the days of fancy technology i used to bank on walking 1800 steps to 1 mile at a good pace which took around 15 minutes = 4mph........that was roadwork though which is obviously easier...........obssessed as i was if a dog needed 4 miles i would actually count out 7200 steps in my head ....what id of done for a pedometer all those years ago .................Handy little link that 1800 mtrs to a mile, roughly a mtr to a step, so i'll give you that...that's some anal roadworking there lol! dedication at it's finest...
