Wanted Water Proofing Boots

I have a pair of lowas gtx, whats the best stuff to put on them to keep them water proof. Cwn-Hela

Boot polish or dubin. They are good boots and a dab of polish now and again will keep them tip top.

I use jojo wax for waterproofing and general care of my boots, I find it brilliant to be honest, its around £10 to £12 for a tub on ebay, or you can get it from Arthur carter, google it and there are a few other places you can buy it from, well worth the money I think, just my opinion,

Do i remove shoe lace and rub inn all over, including the gore tex?? I don't want to stop them from breathing. What about bee wax?? Thanks for your suggestions.

The gore tex fabric is beneath the leather. It's the inner lining of the boot.

 

You could remove the laces but I never bother. Just get whatever you use dorbed on

Unfortunately with five kids that eat like piranhas my boot budget doesnt allow for a posh pair! My size 12 army boots usually get a generous coat of polish and then i rub vaseline all over, works for me.
