Malt 379
Takes the piss IMO.. Like Tomo said, only people that will benefit from this are the tour operators.. Millions of people have had holidays in term term to no ill effect.. This is another attack at the less well off, it's the lowest paid that are going to suffer the most.. Way to keep the oiks in their place.. If you can't afford the high season prices you aren't allowed to go..

dare 1,103
I must be getting an old miserable git. I wouldn't let anyone tell me what I can and can't do with my kids. Same time I wouldn't want em falling behind so I'd probably tell the school my plans and ask for extra homework to be done couple weeks before it. God my kids are gonna hate me when I have em lol didnt think I'd ever think this way.

Huan72 687
This government is absolutely hilarious, they must the whole population are as thick as s**t. They will tell us this is to help children's education but what they really mean is that its yet another way of controlling the average working man and make more money for the super rich owners of airlines and holiday firms. It wont effect the rich, they can afford anything they want, this actually, potentially reduces the quality of children's lives as I am sure that this will be enough to stop the holidays of some that are on the financial borderline. They really are actually pissing on us and calling it rain. Nothing that this government do surprises me, they really do seem to want to strip us of every freedom that we have ever possessed.
