Anyone watch this earlier on C4?

Drama-docu about the National Grid going down for a week. I like to think I'm prepared and resourceful and could probably get by, but it frightened me to death !

If you watched it, what are your thoughts on such a thing happening ?

Repeated tonight 9pm on 4Seven, if anyone fancies a watch - it's very thought-provoking, because the scenario is so plausible.

yes watched it, but found the characters dragging away from the plot to much, they got on my nerves .could have been good viewing , if stuck to what would happen , not the human element thing . just what i think .?

Watched it on and off as I was in and out, had a fire burning in the garden and with my recently smashed living room window I practically felt part of the programe!

It was alright, nothing too concerning. I'd get by, just stay the hell out of towns and cities while the scum are trawling the streets.

Would be tempting to nick a van and reverse into the back of a few shops then of to hatton to be ripped off for the gear lol

Right about staying out the city though it'll be like the riots and pack mentality will form. Was a really old tv show my dad got on DVD and I caught parts of it, survivors I think it was? Was bloody old so didnt give it much time.

I vaguely remember that, I remember them shooting a boar from a van with a crossbow. I wouldn't mind seeing it properly.

You only have to remember that if snow is forecast for a couple of days, the shops look like there's a war on !!

Imagine the chaos if electricity ceased to be available. The police can barely maintain law and order in the large cities as it is sometimes.

Mrs.B actually got a bit scared when she realised how quickly people would turn on each other and resort to stealing from each other, and asked if we could protect ourselves and our property. (I think she'll let me have the machete I've been after now!)

Any-old-hoo, maybe worth a watch if you can tear yourself away from the football.

Didn't watch the program but the scenario is plausible, enough. Power has to come from somewhere. The infrastructure isn't being updated at the same speed as the demands placed on it.

So the lights go out. Along with everything else. Police can't answer a city 999 call, when the power is up and running to begin with. Look at the summer of rioting!

The docu-drama suggests a week? Would it be paranoid to have a weeks worth of food, bottled water, and shit tickets? Just in case?
