I've gone with long standing members and a fiver to the kitty. Not sure that shouldn't be Donator members too though.

Face it; Any dick can soon run up fifty posts of " Hullo and welcome / Nice Dog mate. Hows he bread. " That can practically be done over night. Proves f**k all. Then they can unleash hell and claim their " Right " to churn out the ad's.

I'd also be for a strict and low limit on how many creatures a person can offer for sale per year. I mean; How many f**king Dogs should a man need to shift a year?!

Being Donators not only shows their commitment to the site, of course. Their Pay Pal account will also give the admin a fair idea of who's coming back under new handles. They will. After all, what's a fiver to shift another load of pups?

i ban anyone who i find doing this without any warnings the same as muppets wanting to swop fooking dogs and pups

I would rather see the for sale section gone tbh, for every genuine sale I bet theres 10 by wrong uns, pedlars etc.

I don't see the problem to be honest. This is a hunting WEBSITE with a forum attached, not the other way round. Part of that forum there is a for sale section. So what if someone has pups to sell but

Of maybe we could have it for long standing members

i think the for sale section on this site is good, least people can see members previous posts and topics, where as you cant on the likes of gumtree and preloved..

just think if you was a newbie wanting to get a dog where would you start if you had no friends in the sport , i know id rather be looking on here than on some selling site

i think being a donator and having a minimum of 100 decent posts should be the criteria before your allowed to sell in any of the sections

There's plenty of idiots who are long standing members...look at Lab :icon_eek:

Get rid of it,

anyone needing to advertise online to sell pups shouldn't have bred them in the first place.

For everything else there is gumtree/ebay/ etc

who gets to keep the fee? im sure this site makes enough for the owner already. it might make people just go elsewhere to peddle there minshaw's

If it has to resort to that surely it should go to some worthwhile charity 'help for heroes' or something similar.

end of the day not every person into hunting is into spending there lives on a forum.........yet its still a good way to sell excess pups........a person could have 20,000 posts on here yet still be a peddlar..........and a person who has top class pups but struggles to switch a computer on could feel the backlash from messers on here.......so it aint really fair is it.............. :hmm:

you also have to remember is that if people didnt spend so much time looking for arguments on here, then a peddlar wouldnt get so much as few views on their topic...

WOW someone is selling a litter of shite on the hunting life...................

I reckon only long standing members should be granted the right to sell pups or older dogs on here, its easy enough to tell who contributes what by a quick post check by a mod, its one of the worst aspects of the site seeing all them poor things up for sale and even worse is the excuses used, is there a book out there that peddlars get when they have a litter full of shitty one liner excuses, like the wife has left em etc

ffs, there is a lot of very lucky lads on here whom simply need to breed every time they see blood on a bitches rear end, most of em even lucky enough to own a dog good enough to sire the litter to said class bitch as well, shame they don't often have enough friends to buy said wonder pups though, like someone else already said if you aint got homes for em all and some then you should not be breeding end of story

Lets tell you first I may have pups to sell this year and yes I would like to offer them on this site why well first of all I want them to go to a working home so as shooters use this site it seams to me to be a good place to sell. also I don't want to sell to novice owners plus I know if buyers have any question and they post them on this site I know my reply would be vetted by those who know about dogs and they would soon point out if I was trying to pull a fast one.So if I was peddler they could find out by looking at my profile THEN POSTS/ TOPICS IF A warning apeared with add for buyers to check post/topic history before buying and they could make there own minds up + a fee would be ok by me.just to add selling livestock then you should have been on this site for a year at least .

Question for all the moaners; when have you ever reported a post?

The moderators are here to help; but we cant be on the whole forum all of the time. I can't speak for the others, but I get email notification of reported posts and usually act any reports straight away.

You've got to remember that twats are twats and will advertise whether you've got a post limit or donation or whatever. We rely on members to report shite so we can deal with it.

And don't start with all the grass bollocks either

Do your bit to keep the forum good and don't start moaning threads.....
