Anyone going the CLA gamefair at ragley hall

Alcester. Was wondering what its like is it worth £25 entry. Only up the road for me.

its absolutely massive, there is no way that you could see it all in one day.

there wasnt a whole lot there for digging / running dogs, plenty for the gundogs and pretty much every type of gun for sale or being demonstrated.

row after row of crafts, food and anything else that could loosely be tied to country life.

there's money on display all over the place, lots of it in your face and over the top.

i had a good day there, as long as your prepared to put the graft in and walk lots there's some intresting stuff there.

take a packed lunch or dig deep in your pockets.

parkings plentifull and free (3 yrs ago it was anyway), tickets are slightly cheaper if you buy over the net in advance.

didnt see much of a que when i went, car or for tickets, its a pretty slick operation from what i saw.

Its is by far the best game fair of the year. When you think the likes of Selby and the Yorkshire game fair are around £10 to get in, and they are shit!!!, the entrance fee to the cla looks great value for money.

we have been going to this show since 2004, its a brilliant three day show plenty to see and do. Its a bit heavy on your pocket we camp for the three days and have always had a good time well worth a visit.

we camp there as well. We will be there from Thursday afternoon, we can't wait for it after last years cancellation.
