shaaark 11,338
Having to adjust YOUR ways and life to suit the dog isn't being a dogman in my eyes. More like role reversal, f**k that. I'm far from being thick, but don't fancy being practically a dog psychologist just to get out to do a bit with the dogs. And I know there some good saluki bred dogs about, but are they the ones with JUST saluki, or ones with say collie for example in as well? Quote Link to post

killing crew 2,708
I've kept lurchers for a good few decades now :-( and now have my 1st two heavily saturated Saluki x's ..nearly 6 months old and to be honest upto press I've not had a bother with them,100% house trained, jump grand for their age, been in and amongst livestock from the day I collected them, never batted an eyelid at them, recall is A1 every time, carry back to hand ...holy shit both will even sit on command and give you a paw lol and that's the truth...I dont want my dogs trained to gundog standard,I just want them to eat, sleep, kill and do as their told in the main...these Saluki x's seem no different to any other types I've had if I'm honest....maybe I've just fell lucky, time will tell I guess? I just think there's so many men with dogs out there and not enough dogmen...there's a world of difference between the two IMO....Atb Andy id say your out with your pups more than anyone is on here pal. practise makes perfect. Lol, bit of a bold statement that. How do you come to that conclusion? i know you dont like fuji baw Quote Link to post

I suck up to Darcy? you got to be kidden right? You amaze me how wrong you are everytime you post Ask anyone on here if I suck upto Darcy. Ask the man himself what he thinks of me lol. Here Darcy, bet you had a chuckle at that I've got 2 dogs baldrick. Both semi retired. When I say I don't have a dog to run I was referring one to match, one I rated. Had one till it got badly injured, hence semi retired. Got fed up with guys challenging me on here then pulling out so was easier to say, no dogs to run. Plus it gives guys like yourself the moral high ground Quote Link to post
