You can't complain when bull/greys are called 'the poachers devil dog' with everything blown out of proportion, but then not mind when the same crap is thrown in the other direction. The number of fox attacks on kids is tiny, there are plenty more injuries caused by badly socialised surrogate-kid terriers and many many people are killed by deer. So whether or not foxes need to be controlled in urban areas I don't think child attacks is any meaningful basis to argue from as it's so bloody uncommon, if it was common it wouldn't make the news would it and it would be just another event like the thousands of people hurt when pissed etc. numbers don t matter,it s the emotion factor,in this case a baby which has been reported....emotion is powerful if you have babies Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Nothing will change that. They are opportunist predators and a baby is the right size for them to have a go at - especially in Bromley so it would seem as one tried dragging a toddler out of his pushchair only recently. whippet 99 2,613 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 wonder what they will say when a baby is killed because i think its going to happen..............sad as it is , its inevitable,............ thats the mentality we are dealing with,.............wait for it to happen then deal with it as usual.............. maybe they aught to get bitten by a fox so they can see how harmlesss and cute they are,................as the population and adaptation grows in urban foxes ,.........they will become more dependant and more aggressive with hunger fighting to survive................ i read something further up in the thread that foxes have no purpose , they have every purpose as the next animal but they need controlling not eradicating.......... mine and the next mans world would be destroy without no foxes..............but as we can see its getting more and more common with the population escalating out of control.........
