I saw your original post and I would be worried if my neighbour who was a p**shead had any kind of gun, in fact if they were that bad I's be worried even if they didn't have any guns.

 

I think we've got a pretty good system over here, there's always the occasional one that falls through the cracks but I'm not sure any more legislation will help.

 

The next thing that will get banned will be the .22 semi and the FAC semi auto shotgun with up to an 8 round magazine as soon as the anti gun newspapers find out they are still actually perfectly legal.

yes yes were not stupid.we do realise that if you wanted to go into a school or other building to kill people,im pretty sure we would find a way.however lets not make it easy for the loonies and give them access to guns to do it. seriously i dont know where half you lads live,but it seems you are living under seige and in fear of your lifes. im not even a dad and id fear for kids if we had the same gun laws here. and just again for the record.i have no probs with shotguns rifles for sport or for your job.handguns machine guns in the populace!i think not.

Although I'm 'pro gun' I think that the reason for the second amendment has lost it's validity. Guns were great in the old days but a load of red necks with AR-15s aren't gonna last 30s against the US military. I'm not sure how their right to bear, what are pretty simple weapons, protect them in any way from a corrupt government?
