better night than i expected.

Recommended Posts

one of my nephews asked me if they could go out lamping with me yesterday so i decided to take him out lastnight. anyway i picked him up from the house along with his brother and off we went just round the corner to my first spot. the weather was near perfect but the rabbits were lamp shy, i persisted on and managed a farely quick 10 considering.

after the first 10 i had to get back to the house and drop one off my nephews off as he had work early this morning. now it was just me and my one nephew as the weather was so good i decided to pop back to the house and fetch my old dog for a run and move to another spot.

i got to the new spot and in the first field i give the old dog a couple of slips which resulted in 2 quick rabbits. off i went onto another field with loads of rabbits and my night was just about to get reasonably good. my old dog had another quick 6 which ment he caught 8 out of his first 9 slips which supprised me.

to cut a long story short we ended the night with 48 in the bag with my old dog accounting for 14 which ment my young dog whos only 19 months old had his best ever bag of 34 which i was more than happy with.

what a pleasant suprize bumping into such a good pocket of rabbits.
