have a look at this , lab is putting a couple of these away every day , think of his colesterol level :laugh: :laugh: deep fried calzone ffs

 

OMFG those things are so damn good. Don't eat them anymore ... but man I used to love them!

 

Suddenly my plate of grapes and apples and cheese doesn't look so good :(

 

 

 

... also, if you're making BBQ sauce, replace the sugar in the recipe with Maple Syrup. Well good :thumbs:

maple syrup is great on roast parsnips too!

 

My best sunday lunch is now roast haunch of muntjac. Just had it for my fathers day dinner, can barely move! So tender :) Munty loves redcurrant jelly.

 

Maple syrup is the food of the Gods - it's good on everything :laugh:

But it is hellishly good on pancakes and parsnips :laugh:

 

Makes a good glaze for just about anything, makes bbq sauce bitchin' bbq sauce :D Can put it on ice cream, or yoghurt, breakfast cereal .... or if you're like me you can get it in a care package from home and just take shots of it straight out of the bottle :laugh:

Will definitely try it in bbq sauce. It's THL after all and one has to join in with the bitchin' sooner or later :thumbs::laugh:

always remember sunday tea round my grans when i was a kid pork pie saled fried lunceon meat ... with jelly and russian marble cake for afters ..
