passers by ignore injured child

Recommended Posts

Never mind the chinks, that could be London.....nobody wants to stop to help anybody now days it seems.

I once saw an old lady sitting alone crying in a crowded eating area in a shopping centre once, there must have been 500+ people in that area and I was the only person who got up and went over to see if she needed help........everyone looked at me like I was mad!!

I have seen a few incidents and I always stop and see if I can help, I just have to.

Its not so bad in rural areas in the UK, but in the big citys every f****r is a scared stranger.

I agree with the other lads too, that was a pretty disturbing thing to watch.

Aint that the truth mate, this country is also full of folk who look the other way and would rather not get involved, several instances over the years have conformed it. A good few years ago i was driving through town on a saturday night and saw some yobs stamping on a teenage girl on the floor, despite this being a busy main road myself and an old fella were the only people to pull over and stop this disgrace, whats worse was i called the kids parents and spoke to her dad, said she would need a trip to A&E to make sure she was ok, 20 minutes later i called again to find where he was only to be told he was just watching the end of "his program", proper cnut and let him know, i took the kid to her mums who phoned me the next day to thank me.

Again driving i saw some old dear and what i assume was her grandson having hell of a time as a stray dog all but ragging their little mongrel to death, again despite loads of traffic i was the only fecker to pull over and break it up...... Apathy is worldwide nowdays im afraid.............

Chinese ,, completely ignorant without a bone of compassion in their bodies,,   They treat animals like disposable trash ,and treat other humans just the same,,,scum,,, Japs are not much better, ig

agree its savage u wud not treat an animal like that there sick b*****ds

Really glad I didn't watch that; reading the thread was hard enough.

People see others in distress and they're are afraid of being sued, conned, attacked, whatever ... so they just look away most of the time.

Lack of empathy isn't strictly a Chinese trait.

Maybe not but ignoring a dying child in the street is something that would unlikely happen in most other countries, thank god.

Probably not Shepp, thankfully, but plenty of people ignore suffering children every day - we see them everywhere, in shops, on buses, in the school yard, in next door's garden. It might not be an immediate threat, but we look away, say it's not our problem ... what makes us better?

Earlier in the thread ,someone said the chinese over here seem OK !! think again !

Rascist ,insular criminals,, the lot of em,, have no concept of social responsability so neglect to pay tax, prefering to gamble it away in triad run casinos,,,,take aways are paying money to said criminals, who in turn have set up 10`s of thousands of drug factories in rented houses up and down the country !

They bring nothing worthwhile to the UK and we would be WAY better off without them.

Viet's were the original hydro-house asians, hence the nail-bars and cash-in-hand businesses, chinese have only moved onto that scene in the past 3-4 years?Average chinese IS indeed insular, thats fact BUT they arent all crims, thats also fact, very industrious people, family oriented,if they can evade tax they will indeed do so,not all gamble but lots do,its the asian way,I lived over there for years, and know a large number of chinese and other asians around london, got a number as good friends.

I find the chinese here are on the whole a pretty decent bunch and chinese malaysians are probably the nicest bunch of people I have met.

Another thing I find the first generation chinese born here are very british and have no legence to any other country, as a contrast to a great number of pakis.

China has a terrible and justifiably so reputation for human right, but people are individuals,we are all different, the footage of the small girl is horrific, but at this very moment on BBC 1 while not comparable to the chinese girl is child cruelty a lot closer to Home,Britains Child Beggars,I have just watched a Romanian 4 year old using a telephone box in central london as a toilet and scavenging on McDonalds tables for leftover food scraps, and this is in the UK?

Don't watch it.... It will leave an image in your head that you really don't want

Indeed, it is shocking. I remember a few years ago seeing a cat crossing a road and it was hit by a car. It was flapping about and mercifully was flattened completely a few cars later. I know a cat is only a cat and not a child, but I can still picture it flapping about.......very disturbing. I wonder if any of those passers by given that child a thought since walking past her?
