Meindl Dovre Extreme or Le Chameaux Mouflon Plus??

I'm looking at a new pair of boots and at the moment looking at either Meindl Dovre Extreme or Le Chameaux Mouflon Plus. Who's had them and what were they like?? also cheapest places to buy??

I got a pair of Meindls last season after breaking my ankle in lesser boots, they are spot on would recom to anyone

Meindl , I have had a pair for over 12 years, while they might not be fully waterproof anymore, they are still an extremely good walking / digging boot. Fitted like a glove from day 1.

Had both will never buy chameau again had them replaced under warranty 3 times till they gave me my money back absolute shite but the meindels are spot on wear them every day to work and would happily buy another pair

I also wear Meindl Dovre, love them, had Le Chameau Mouflons in the past, not in the same league as the Meindl.

I bought two pair of meindle dovre several year's ago and they are money well spent..i have a weak ankle on rough ground from time to time but i never worry about it when wearing meindl..

mendls i cant speak highly enough as ive tried most boots over the years and I get 2 seasons out of mendls ...i put neets foot oil on mine ....i have got a pair of harkila for this season .....I am on the hill at the grouse tomoro so willl stick to the mendls as a day on the hill is not best for breaking in a new pair of boots

I tried a pair of le chameux at the midland on saturday but thought they were a bit narrow for my feet, I've tried a pair of ankle high meindl's today in Ambleside and they felt good.

Now I know what size I need for the meindl dovre extreme's I'll be ordering a pair of them. Thank's for your input much appreciated.

Meindls or Lowa are the best I have tried most I would never touch le chameau again total crap sent them back they replaced 3 times then I got my money back.You will not better Meindl or Lowa.
