As a few folk on here will know from our sporting bets im very big on a certain local childrens charity close to me.....as much sympathy as i have for the problems around the world there are people in just as much need on our doorsteps,once they are sorted out we can look further afield if we are in a position to help.

 

Its that prick Bob Geldoff who started this shit,before that English people were glad to help other English people,now they all want to be trendy and save a poor starving african like it gives you rights to ownership of some sort.....similar to the " adopt a lion " adverts on telly .......

We seem to be always sending money and helping other countries but we dont get f**k all back when we need it . charity begins at home now for me, There are more important things like cancer reshearch or the heart foundation that i give to and would rather this counrty give money to .

 

And yeah it does seem strange that when lurchers friend is on there does seem to be a lot of guests reading, i do honestly think there is something a bit of a miss with him.

So if i am a humanitarian in that i don't agree with torture, prison camps, genocide's or institutionalized rape then i'm a bad person? As hunters we know that a goverments decision dosn't always refelct the peoples wishes, The men, women and children suffering and dying did not build nuclear weapons, They did not increase the size of the Army they are people with lives and families just like us thats why I gave money to the appeal, Thats also why I gave money to the Cumbrian flood appeal, The Hati earthquake and give money to Help for Heros, one charity dosn't have to block another! The people in Pakistan are suffering as a Christian I cannot sit by and watch people suffer, regardless of there religious beliefs. The difference here to some charities is this is an emergency what happens over the next week is litrally a matter of life or death. Just think £25 what you'd spent on a night out could save someones life, I'm not a lefti or an Anti, but I hope I'm a humanitarian DEC appeal

That's true there is good and bad in every group, but if one group's culture teaches and demands bad things then don't you think that more often than not those people will live in a way that another group will find unacceptable?

 

To be completely serious on the floods, it is bad that people are dying and facing plenty of other problems, because of what's happened. But I really don't see what this disaster has to do with us when we're offering so much to so many Pakistanis anyway.
