brother fox 1
any hunting to be done there? what way the seasons work? any one there that can give me a contact ill pm them my oz number thanks The temperature change is going to be a big shock to you as it,s a tad warm in Brisbane all year round. The cooler Winter starts from about april onwards and ends around september. Not many rabbits around brisbane or queensland, plenty of foxes but they tend to live in cover rather than to dig holes and heaps of deer,( red and chital)and pigs. Victoria is the fox hunting state and all the hunt clubs in Australia (6)are within 30 mile of melbourne. If your after a running dog or terrier go to the carisbrook show on the first sunday in october to see some of the better types. Happy trails. Quote Link to post

berty1 8
A couple of hours inland from Brisbane is a place called Towoomba, good pig and roo hunting with dogs (and rifles) there. Everyone is into it out there and willing to take newbies out with them. Quote Link to post
