Totally agree .Then a fortune awaits some body who brings them into the country and starts breeding them as no doubt they would become fashionable for a period of time.

I know a man who has a nice one in Thailand. He had it out the back of his resturant, a girlfriend of mine had eaten a thai mushroom omlette, went out back for a P and the dog bit her, frecked her right out.

Probably lashed out in fear of being in the next omlette ;)

is there a connection between the thai and rhodesian ridgebacks, the ole ridge on the back isnt exactly common, dont look similiar other than that.

the rhodesian is made up from mastiff, greyhound, pointer, hound and a wild african dog which had the ridgeback ( i saw it on tv today)

chows in the native country are still used for hunting, guarding & fighting mate not the useless shit we have in this country.

You sure mate? Could just be breed twaddle as my mum used to keep chows in the 50's and 60's, I think sticking the chow between two slices of buttered white bread was and still is there most usefull vocation...........

heard the same fella, chow was bred for din dins, never heard of them as a fighter, just something to put with the rice and noodles...;))
