Leeview 792
Doing the beating with the gamekeepers sam and stuart good ol days great atmosphere and pi$$ up after in southport Dick Houghton retired as Lord Levenhulme's greyhound trainer and George Rimmer both lived on Altcar great characters, sadly Stuart Wilcock died shortly after retiring and not long after Dick Houghton died as well, Sam B took over as headkeeper but after the last Waterloo the estate was split up and Sam was working for a syndicate, Richard his underkeeper left and was working the doors in Manchester Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post

desertdog 149
my first waterloo cup, i remember all the antis, getting thrown in the dykes as our transit pulled up and a big fight broke out, they came off worse and the police turned a blind eye, sitting on the bank eating a leg of venison, with red current jelly, and here and there winning the cup, and on the wayback singing hunting songs, and stopping for a pee about every 2 miles, tooks us ages to get home, and then in the pub when we do get back , what a day, iwas only a lad, and we went with the herts working terrier and lurcher club, happy days, ill drink to that Quote Link to post
