The organisers of the 32 County Champion of Champions have asked me to inform you that this brilliant Championship will be taking place later in the year at a venue to be confirmed. All shows in the North of Ireland and the South of Ireland will be a qualifer. So get your heats going at your shows and go for this prestigeous title. The organiser off this show has asked me to put up a post to tell all that this show is now cancelled until a later date.He sends his apologies.Its cancelled because there is some sort of Car Rally taking place on the surrounding roads, therefore blocking entry and he was not informed about this until the last minute.

Some 'gentlemen' removed our large yellow advertising banner from the wall at Ballywalter. We have a description of the people involved but not the vehicle number. A joke is a joke BUT I am fairly attached to this banner it having served me well for many years and designed specifically for this wall. I think Ballywalter has been 'flogged to death' I have tried to answer all the posts but except for waiting to hear from Kirsty a definitive statement on the breeder and breeding of her dog and making comment on that I do not intend to post further. Our team having completed the 'clear up' at Ballywalter are now totally focused on making our 50th Fair at Shanes Castle the 'golden event' it deserves to be. The alarm clock went off loud and clear on Sunday morning at 6.00am, which signalled for me the start of another brilliant day at Ballywalter Game and Country Living Fair. After enjoying a great day on Saturday at Ballywalter, visiting the many trade stands including Lawrence Hawleys stand who had some lovely ladies hunter wellingtons and all necessities to do with country living. Lawrence travels over from Newcastle, and told me he just loves Ballywalter and its people, and looks forward to coming here with his stand every year. as usual we went to ballywalter show never seen as many new faces with greyhiunds and nonped whippets there before a man called billy harper and some friend of his are pure cheaters his friend from castel derg was there with 3 greyhounds running how can this keep happening we heard the arguing and language from our van parked near them. not good ! fighting dogs that are supposed to be racing shouldnt be there there was a black one that are girl raced with blinkers on its head fough from start to the end and took out 3 dogs somebody said it was barred from southern ireland

Had a very relaxing and most enjoyable day yesterday with friends at Ballywalter Game and Country Living Fair. From early morning, car loads of families began arriving from all parts of the country to partake in all the fun of the fair. It was nice to be able to stroll around the many trade stands in the sunshine, all packed with their own specialised goods. There were lots of bargains on these stands and no doubt I did not come home empty handed. The main arena handed out some brilliant entertainment with Keith Matthews, and his dog training techniques, real family entertainment. Falconar
