  1. Just got off the phone with the organizers of the show, we will be at the show with a trade stand to promote our new ferret box, The Mouchers Box, its a version of a tryed and tested small bow backed box, that we feel we have inproved by fitting a bigger lid, improved ventalation and raised the point of ballance on the strap so it can now be worn as a blet as well as with a shoulder strap, we wil also have our terrier boxes with us and will be doing a show special on kennels ordered at the show, will also have a boat load of quality polyester net and yarn, and no doubt a few other bits and pie
  2. When JT moved on to black terriers a guy I know took all of his stud this is where the litter came from, the northeast sealyhams are very tightly bred, but I have sorted out some very good out crosses for them and would like to see these little dog become more popular, who know I may even get involved myself again
  3. None of the original lads now own sealyhams or sealyham types, but I now of a few that still have the dogs from these lines, in fact last year I took a full litter of the Thompson line to sell for one of the lads, I put them in the countrymans weekly and sold them from the shop they went in a week, if I had had 20 pups I could have sold them twice over
  4. Theres no need for any one to fall out and it would be a shame for this thread to go the way of many others, but in my opinion the reason there arn't the number about is simple because the men that had these cracking little dogs would not let them go just any where, which was not always a good idea as now they have all but died out, but there are pockets still aboutand may be it time some of these lads got themselves together before it is too late
  5. Not the fastest on the take off but with the heart they have they just go on and on and with them luggs to help them along they can cover some ground
  6. All three are showing great intrest to ground, the two balck and tan are only 5 1/2 month old but still show a lot of promise, the grizzle bitch is about 12 month old and has to date only ragged dead fox, but as taken to ratting as good as any terrier I have owned, as an all round mut these little hound take some beating in my eyes, I wish I had found them years ago. They hunt like a hound and for a little dog on short legs just keep on going on and on with excepional nose and voice, they retreive shot game for fun, are at home in the water, if I couldget one that was 24 inches at the sholder
  7. Poacher Im glad some one as picked up on that, its one of my pet hates, why do folk take off before trophys are given out, they should show some support and stick around till the end of the show, this show as ever was very well attended, sadly it is no different to many other shows once the many classes are over
  8. Heres my little pack of teckles, hope to pick up another dog pup in the next few weeks
  9. Mr Tea Pot you could start some thing off here, early eighty's and a centre parting for me Me on the right loads of hair and no beer belly, days gone by when I could run with the hound and not just stand at a gate and watch
  10. Has a trader Tom I know where others are coming from, as for SAC'S not grabing hold of that olive branch, well only time will tell it might be one of the biggest mistakes they have made, its about time the hatch was burryed, with out you involved they must have lost a lot of surport for the dog world, I know my membership and many others has been left to run out and not be renewed, this is a shame, or may be they are happy to go the way of BASC
  11. Look forward to seeing you all there, just round the corner from us, so will have the usual goods with us ferret boxes nets and terrier boxes ect
  12. Tom you should have introduced yourself and had a chat, Martin the boxes are made of a 12mm far easteren exterior ply which I spent a lot of time to source and a lot of time talking to suppliers, it's the lightest 12mm ply we have ever used to make boxes, I am now using it to make all our products
  13. So are you lads telling me that there is a gap in the market for an extra large single ferret box, say the size of a treble without the partitions, some thing that would take five to six ferrets
  14. Just look for the Hunters Heaven stall and you will see a little guy with a big grin thats TEESDALE
  15. I want to know who's going to do all the back filling
  16. Young John has put up some picture on another thread

  18. Is there a reason given for there being no camping
  19. well made boxes Woods, just one thing mate and Im not having a dig just passing on a tip form experience, we have made hundreds of box of different design's, on the boot box dont know if its pictuered upside down or not but it is easyer to control the terriers as they come out of the box if the doors are top hung, saying that we have been asked to make them by lads hung as pictured
  20. An exellent day out shame the rain came at the last minute and knocked the racing on the head, some very good example of lurcher and terriers there today, I didn't get to see as much of the classes as I would have liked busy on the stall, but young John took over 600 photo's and should get them up over the next few days, he is also doing a show report for the country mans weekly, as well as getting up his own website of pictures from all the shows we are covering this season, good to meet some old and new faces off the site, this is a show to mark down as a must for next year
  21. Butler it was so I didn't clash too much with Tracy Allan, the plan was for it to be dyed pink, but I bottled it
  22. Andrew mark Im pretty sure young John missed the terrier pup class, but I might be wrong
  23. We have had bedlinton terriers in the boxes,,,, we did have to fold it in half and but it in backward LOL
