  2. The amount of work we have coming through at the moment and with what we need to get ready for the Welsh Game Fair the poor lads going to need a hammer in each hand, not a glass one, if last year's any thing to go by we are going to need at lest 250 to 350 ferret boxes without any thing else

Young Joe "Teesdale Rabbiter" on this site will be joining us on a work experience venture from tuesday, from what we have heard of Joes joiner skills Im sure he will become a valued member of the team, he joins us at a time when we are very busy getting the new ferret boxes and new range of terrier boxes up and running to be show cased at the Welsh Game Fair on the 20th and 21st of june, we all look forward to you joining us Joe, mines no sugar just milk, only joking

The 19 3/4 was the biggest one we had sent in then I got a 20 1/2 from DandN but two weeks ago I got a picture from a guy in hartlepool of a 21 inch rat, if any one has one bigger laid next to a tape measure, or if your planing a ratting trip please take a tape and camera along Im sure theres a bigger one out there some where, as 1st prize I am having a trophy made with a terrier stood with a rat in its mouth and hoping to get some more gear sorted for prizes as well as a few quid, all enteries to "kingrat2009@hotmail.com" Im also sorting a picture board to take to shows with us, so any good r

We are there with kennels, terrier and ferret boxes, locators and lamps a range of strong stuff gear, jim blackdog couplings lots of fox and purse nets, should have some good deals on a few dogfoods some stainless steel probes I think theres some ferreting spades left aswell, I will have a rake around in the shop this morning and see what else I can find to put in the van, also hope to get a board made up with some pictures of the entries for our kingrat 2009 competition, look forward to see as many of you there as posible, dont be shy come over and introduce yourselves its good to put faces t

  12. We had a good but chilly day, some good crack with new and old faces, Aaron thick yourself lucky it was just the one chicken, hope to see most of you again next week end at Hartlepool, long range forcast looks like a good one

Look forward to meeting some of you lads again, Aaron didnt have a lot of time to chat at our own show so Im taking a couple of the lads with me this weekend so will be able to sneake off for a pint with you mate, also because Im not doing many off the big shows this year so dont have the out lay I have a fair number of double ferret boxes that I will be moving on for £15.00 a piece instead of £25.00 some polyester yarn thats going for £7.50 down from £8.50 and polyester purse nets for £2.50 fox nets for £8.00 and Im sure I should be able to sort a good deal on a couple of 40ft deben ter

Im with Mole Catcher here, about two years back I was given a 10z long net, having only used 4z for many years I thought the same as you lads that it would be stronger and not get damaged which it didnt but it also didnt hold rabbits, it went the way off Trappers and was long since made into 10z purse nets, another thing is at the end of the day when you have rabbits to carry the extra wieght of a basket full of 200 yards of 10z net makes a big difference

  17. I have delt with the ferretbox company many times in the past year or so, there boxes are of good value and exellent quality

  19. BUSH BUSTER pups for sale. Sire is a full bred English Working Basset, 'Pirate' is one hell of a hunter with phenomenal drive. He is regularly hunted and shot over. Dam is, 1/2 Sealyham Terrier, 1/4 Beagle, 1/4 Teckel, 'Lucy' is a cracking little hunter, finder, she chooses not to hunt a line too far but will if she is encouraged to. She is brilliant at finding and marking fox to ground, she makes plenty of noise when marking fox. Lucy comes from a very versitile pack, they are used for ratting, bushing rabbits and for flushing most other vermin and shot over regular. Dam, lucy, and he
  20. Harry a lot of poultry are sold as point of lay from as young as 16 to 18 weeks old, most dont start to lay untill they are 24 weeks old though

Titchy I know we are in the same bussiness, but theres work out there for all of us, the draws a good idea, dont know if you have seen my thread on new design for ferret boxes, I have just done some thing similar with our new boxes but with a hiden catch so you dont have a bolt on the outside, its good to see some one else trying to look forward instead of just jumping on the bandwagon and doing the same as every one else
