Hi Ricky I use them for ferreting and at night, when ferreting if its a big set its easyer than setting loads of purse nets more so now I have a quickset

if hemp nets are looked after and dryed out after use they are by far the best,if you want some thing you can just chuck in your net bag till next time6z or 10 z are fine. mark scot of the ferret box company has some very nice 6z and 10z nets in at the moment

spun nylon dosnt need to be dryed out like hemp,they are not the same as nylon netts being heavyer they act and work like hemp

A few years back I owned a dog ferret which killed nearly every time we used him, lucky for us most of our setts are only a spade blade deep mainly grassland grazed by sheep nice soft soil, he would kill so often and so quickly we would follow him with the bleeper and as soon as he stoped mark the spot with a stoneone of us dig and the other follow him with the box, in places where we had alot of rabbits and at the begining of the season we would often get 3 or 4 rabbits like this in one set, how ever this ferret is now dead and although we bred from him none of the ofspring have been as good

Hi my name is john hubery, I have keeped running dogs and ferrets for over 30 years, at the moment I have 2 lurchers 2 patterdales and far too many ferrets, I run my own business [animal feed shop ect and a joiners shop mainly making pet homes] have been going to be come a member for a while now, finaly taken the plung.
