  6. Ever one does right knocking this guy back,, but lets get back to the crack lads, I just wanted other lads opinions on the subject, like I said I know now I let things go I wouldn't have years ago,
  7. No Dotty it's just crack I had today in the shop with a lad, but Like I said if I had a dog doing the job or a young dog that showed good potential, I would turn a blind eye now
  8. Just wondered how other members feel about dogs opening up and giving tounge, I was having a chat with a local lurcher lad today and the subject came up, he has no time for a speaking lurcher, don't know if may be as I get older my standards are sliping, but to me now that I don't sneak around like I did years ago, on place's I may be shouldn't have been, back in those days no way would I have even considered keeping a dog that gave the slightest of yip's or would I have kept a white or heaverly pied dog, but now you see them in greater numbers all the time, so to me if a dog is doing his job
  9. The orgin of the spades and the enginering company doing the work are unfortuntely under wraps and it would be foolish as a business to reveal them, sorry, I know this doesn't answer your question Wink hound
  10. Because of repeated calls to the shop from disgruntled customers of the Ferret Box Company, for reasons I dont want to go in to here or any where else, I would like it to be known that we no longer, and have not for a long time stock or sold any of the products made by The Ferret Box Company, all our timber products are made by ourselves in our own work shop, some time ago I was asked to deal with the public sales by the Ferret Box Company, and it was posted on here and other forums, it seems people are looking through old posts to find out ways of contacting the Ferret Box Company, and connec
  11. From the amount of Pms I have received about the wire V's bars I think we will offer the bars as an extra and keep the wire as standard, but if any one else feels strongly either way please let me know as I would like to improve our product in any way possible As for the price of the spades everone seem happy with them, after all its not as if Im sticking a piece of pipe up the shaft and drilling two hole through and shoving a couple of nuts and bolts through, these are a precisoin enginered bit of kit, there is no movement in the joint and the handle and blade are perfectly in line, over

  13. Bootsha, I know exactly what you are saying mate, I have had no problems with the wire myself, but a couple of lads have made me aware of terriers pulling the wire off, saying that it is only a few, but if Im to suppy the dog world with product that I would like to think are of the best standard I can make then I most listeren to whats being said and if in the same case as you mentioned a terrier broke lose in the back of a van, I think the little dog in most if not all cases is go one way only, I did think of leaving the wire in place under the bars or offering the bars as an extra, the engin
  14. Digaman Im looking at some black fold down handles to go on the sides
  15. Yet again we have improved, our already popular terrier box range, by replacing the wire fronts with steel bars, these bars will also be available to past customers that wish to update there boxes Also we now have a two piece steel shafted spade precision enginered by a local toolmakers, we believe it is the first time this kind of product has been produced commercially and being offered to the working dog community, the spades are constructed in a way so that all the fixings are inside the shaft so no nuts and bolts to catch your hands on whilst digging, and so are now even ston
