We will be there with a tradestand, lots of bargins on nets and boxes, we have a new budget ferret box to take to the show now on sale in the shop @ only £9.99, also our new box featured in the countrymans weekly a couple of weeks ago will be there on sale, hope to see some of you there and has usual my son young john will be taking a sh*t load of photoes to post, over the next couple of days he will be putting up the best of the 1000 plus he took at the Welsh Game Fair, dont be shy drop in and have a chat

  3. Over the years so as coffe tea and tomatoes, I think one of the main problems is that it is said to attack the nevous system, sorry AA mines long gone
  4. Silky cross light susex banties make exellent broodies when I need on all I do is leave the eggs in the boxes for a couple of days and in no time the boxes are full of broodies

The new duramitex aerosol like most things that used to work has had all the harmfull parts taken out so it can be sold to the pulic once more, thanks to our friends in the EU, the only way its going to be effective against red mite and northeren mite now is if you squash the little bast**ds with the tin, yet another exellent produce gone by the way side
  6. This has got to be one of the best shows all year, we will be there with a stand, lot of deals so come on over and introduce yourselves and have a chat, looking forward to see as many as we can off the site

Today i have managed to source some angled corner brackets for the top edge of the slopimg front i have been searching for these for week they make all the apperence to the front of the bpx, the engraved name plate should also arrive tomorow once they arrive i shall put up a photogragh of the finished article.

At last we have recieved the trophy for the King Rat 2009 competition, I have had this figuer made for us and one mounted, it is about six inches long and five inches high, in the near future there will be a limited number made for sale, should have some ready for the Welsh Game Fair to take down with us, for those of you that have not seen the compition you can post you pictures of large rats on kingrat@hotmail.com, from time to time I will post the pictures on here and in the countrymans weekly as well as the Earthdog Runningdog, Rules 1. Only rats clearly displayed

This Year as I am only attending so many large shows with our trade stand, I will be donating, three one off limited edition terrier boxes to the following shows, the Welsh Game Fair, the Middlands Game Fair and Earth Dog Running Dog, here is the box for the Welsh, there is an engraved brass plate to be fixed to the front saying Champion Terrier, Welsh Game Fair 2009, we look forward to meeting as many of you as we can there this year dont be shy come and introduce yourselves and have a chat

Would like to thank Fran and Tom and every one else at the show for making myself and my good lady very welcome this weekend at the show, thanks for the great hospitality and sending me home drunk both nights, all in all an exellent show, this one should and will blow Selby right out of the water over the next few years, brilliant venue and well spread out and easy to get to off the motor way, and an added bonus of feeding the kites in the late afternoon, we will definatly be supporting this show for years to come PS the drink does strange things to a man I believe Im sorted out to do a wi

Excellent day out the weather was spot on only took 15 mins to get in, not bad with the road lay out at the park entrance, spent most of the day at or around the lurcher terrier show, had a few drinks with Foxgun Tom and some of the scotish lads, good company, and good crack, will be back over in the morning for round two at the bar, I also droped one of our double terreir boxes off to be raffled at the lurcher terrier show tomorrow, its got to be worth a quid for a chance to win one, look for ward to meeting more of you lads and lasses tomorrow, looks like we are in for another sunny day, my

Over the years I have shot loads of maggies out side our workshop using pie tins with bits of pie left in them, the reason I used these is because around the factoys lads often throw there left over bait in the skips and I found the magpies would rack around in the skips and if some upset them they would fly off with the pie tins, it works a treat

All I use now are yellow nets, on the rabbiters website there is a tongue in cheek Yellow net club, you dont loose them thats for sure, and theres no difference in the bunnys bolting, they lay and handle just like hemp but with out the need to dry them out every time there used, in fact as a trial I put a bag of 30 polyester nets away last feb that were wet in a game bag and left them in the work shop all summer and didnt look at them again till sept once I had shaken them and got the grey mould dust off them apart from being slightly discoloured they were none the worse for wear and

Some years back I used to do alot of garden decking and landscaping and would often take shrubs and garden waste to the tip in the van when jobs were finished a couple of time I have had mice and othere creature take up resadence in the van with traps you get to see the dead mice use choclate as bait,

When I was a lad some time ago I lived in a place called Newton Aycliffe in the north east, there is a place known localy as the blue bridge, in the 70's there was a totaly white blackbird like yours not an albion, I used to see him all the time at the allotments or along the old line, now a nature walk ( or place to shot up if thats your thing) LOL, but now Im still offten in the area and the odd cock blackie can be seen today and over the years with the odd white feather
  21. His grown another foot since last year Tom and the young bugger dosnt spill much now a days, dosnt pay for much either

Well young Joe's just finished his first shift, he still has all his fingers and I still have what little hair I have, so all in all things have gone OK and his welcome back next week in fact his coming to the NLRC Show on sunday with us to help out, at The Dog Inn, Heighington between West Aukland and Darlington, I think he should become a valued member of the team
  23. Tom, how you doing long time no see, we will be there on the sunday might bring a couple of the teckel's and try the show, was looking to exibit with a trade stand but we have so much work on it hard to take on any more, so will just be having a good day out and not have to worry about work
