  15. Hi Chink, I want to pick this little puppy up with Chipper from a man living near to York, a good friend Mark Scot of "The Ferret Box Company" aranged for Chipper and myself to collect the pup off a friend of his that was not geling with this lovly little bitch, when we arived on the sunday afternoon we where made very welcome and showen around this mans very well kept kennles and ferret shed, molly was let out of her kennle to have a run around and settle herself down, Chipper walked down the garden to be followed by the pup and I think it was love at first sight, when Chipper walked away to
  16. those of you that know chipper, will know that its not just nell and fiz that are the cream of rabbiting dogs, he as all the dogs in his kennle trained and working to an exellent standard, I have had the plesure of walking out with chipper and his little pack a number of times and seen his dogs work under many differant conditions, I can only say it is time well spent in the field, I was also lucky enough to have him pass a little black lurcher bitch on to me earlyer this year, she has become my constant ferreting and mouching companion, a big big thankyou to chipper from me
  17. only ever managed to breed three two of which turned out to be hen and the cock was no where near the stamp of the one in the picture, good luck with them
  18. doxhope you lucky man lets hope he feels the some way in spring, unless your lucky enough for them to lay at this time of year
  19. just seen the pics of your boxes very nice job, where you from wilky

  20. Cheers wilky, Id thought about the front opening ferret box incase you wanted the ferrets out while the net was not in use, and the pipe on the front is a good idea
  21. good point rew but my thought was to be able to fit 100 yds of net in
  22. nrat chippers dog is a pure malinios, and your right it is a striking animal, though I dont thing the dog is papered up, owing to the dog that was used being of a milatry service back ground, so it is not bred from hair brained show stock which shows in the dogs ability to use its nose and think for its self, a true joy to watch in the field, at the danger of repeating my self this dog has to be one of, if not the best all round dog I have seen, in my opinion the way forward
  23. My idea is based on a bow back ferret box, but where wilky has a timber rack to hold his poles, I intend to make a metal frame not unlike the type used in the quick set system to fit into the top of the box and cut a hole in the bottom of the box to let a net bag hang through
