Some of my best friends are absolute c**ts , but you speak as you find and I get on great with them. One guy who people would cross the street to avoid him and would cry if he moved next door is great . If he walked into a pub and seen my old doddery grandad sitting in the corner of a pub having a pint I can guarantee he'd go over and have a nice sensible chat to him for 5 mins then be on his way. I wouldn't say the way up is picturesque but the last leg really makes up for it. At one point on way down we stopped to look at the view because it was clear and theirs forests, huge lakes , stunning scenery all around. It made me quite dizzy looking at it because their was so much in view your eyes just couldn't take it all in or comprehend it. Bit of sunburn on my forehead but apart from that it was glorious . The begining part through the woodland was clammy as hell and my asthma started giving me jip but when we got through that it was better with a breeze . In the Ben Nevis Inn now with a vodka coke and a roll up feeling chuffed to bits. Quite easily my biggest personal achievement ever bar the usual (kids etc). Off to weathersoons for food and drinks in a bit Might try bring home a Scotland football top for my boy if I can find one for sale anywhere

Friends are friends , their all different . Theirs guys I simply enjoy their company regardless of whether they would stick by me. My oldest friend from my teens I don't know if it came to the crunch and something huge was going to happen what he'd do. He's just a soft guy with no real grit. Still love him to bits tho , been through every life milestone together . Another guy I've known properly for 4-5 years and known in passing for 10 would go to war in a instant if I told him I needed him. His Mrs would kill him but he'd do it regardless . Lady who lives next to a farm my Mrs has a horse on feeds them aswell. The hunt sent through and cleared loads of foxes out . Same woman also feeds the farmers sheep over her fence and has fed some before and they ended up Ill or dead , no idea what she was feeding them. Farmer lady went up there for a dust up as it wasn't the first time she's interfeared with the livestock and cops were called . Guns were taken from the farm after supposed threats (the farm lady is pushing 80) . Some people want country life without the country spirit which is sad -
