  1. The reason why gun free zones don't work, spree shooters target them knowing there will be no one to shoot back. The batman cinema killer drove past 3 cinemas before he found one which was gun free.
  2. f**k me he was lucky to survive that. A good friend of mine died BASE jumping (wingsuit) in August 2009 in Norway. There is a very similar video from his helmet cam, but knowing how it ends I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. I would love to do some base jumping/wing suit jumps as well, but the missus has said she will leave me if I try.
  3. Red is a good film about revenge. Almost anything with Clint Eastwood in, but especially Gran Tourino Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins Fight Club with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton Most things with Brad Pitt
  4. I had a feeling you may object to the expense, that's why I suggested the almost free method of iron and kitchen foil. I must add the disclaimer that I have not tried either method...
  5. http://www.kitepackaging.co.uk/scp/heat-sealers/hand-held-heat-sealers/?sfpartno=HEAT-SEALER-PCS%2F150&sfunits=y&gclid=CjkKEQjwhoGcBRDlu9S3mo7-udIBEiQASEw7QjoLjFx3Yy_V3xgc2n1pV6cs3DHXlFCxzl67I3HViEnw_wcB Get one of the above and heat seal the plastic bags, like the fish counter in the supermarket with those bake in the bag things... Or for a more 'cottage industry' type thing, try using an iron and some aluminium foil: http://lifehacker.com/5876762/seal-plastic-bags-with-aluminum-foil-and-an-iron
  6. Once upon a time in America, with Robert De Niro Danny Aiello and Joey Pesci, great film.
  7. They have cocker, patt/ russell in them. I do miss those little black hounds. Imagine the craic we could of had with them in Hungary...
  8. Hell of an accusation to make. I've never met either man, but its certainly not something I would dream of saying without definitive proof.
  9. Aye the Rifles did pretty well out of it...
  10. Stalking in the Highlands with a night out in Edinburgh after.
  11. They are definitely an animal I want to hunt with dogs, kiwi style!
  12. What didn't you like about the army moocher ? Don't know about him, but for me it was officers caring more for their careers than the men and women under their command. It is especially apparent once an individual attained field officer status. Except the first one, I fell out with every OC I ever had. Being good at your job wasn't enough, you had to lick the right arse in the bar as well...
  13. Where you at mate? If you're in the south west drop me a pm. I've something which might suit...
  14. Stockman on an indoor pig unit, in the farrowing house. Noisey, dirty, dusty days shovelling pig shit...
  15. Even among hound packs there can be kennel fights. My local hunt lost 3 during thunder and lightening storms last summer...
  16. Never heard of head hunting?
  17. Done a tiny bit of editing. Apart from that bloody good poster. Get them up and get them known.
  18. I've been offered dogs on loan before. I've never accepted due to the fear of the dog dying whilst I work it. That is a phone call I really really wouldn't want to make...
  19. I don't know, women like that with a life time of experience, I'm sure they could teach us young pups a thing or two.
  20. 355,000 between them is 177,500 each. Retiring at 71, having worked since 20 is 51 years of work. Rounded up to the nearest guy, that's 3481 per year, rounded up to the nearest guy that's 10 per day. However, if they only work a 5 day week, and typically only work 48 weeks per year, that gives only 240 working days per year. So that's an average of 14.5 men per work day. If each man is a 30 min slot, that's only 7.5 hrs work per day. Atypical job, but easily doable in typical hours...just wouldn't want to be number 15!
  21. Yeah, but its still not as hard as P Coy.
  22. Saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. Now on series record. That salmon ladder is something else!
  23. 1m x 1.5m will be sufficient for 1 terrier, which is all you will have if you put 2 terriers in 1 run...
