sika deer whisteling in the woods around the harbour in the dead of night when im fishing still gives me the frights. Was also charged at across a field as a kid by a big grunting badger

yes mate its very painfull i had2 prize its mouth open 2 get it off i wouldnt like 2 be a terrier anywez lol Just goes to show how much respect a working terrier deserves. I would cry like a baby for a week if as much as a rat nipped on the nose, never mind a fox! Its all part of the job i suppose though

First fox my terrier bolted bit my mate i was out with. He grabbed it in the net whislt i untangled it. Dog fox was getting a bit pisssy so he tried to get it to bite on a stick whilst i got the gun ready for despatch and it chomped up the stick like a crodile in a cartoon and latched hold of his thumb. I have never heard such noises come from a big bloke. It wa very funny at the time, for the rest of the day and still funny now. Although im certain it wouldnt had been funny had it have chomped onto my thumb

Read on a thread recently about back filling on steep bankings that to get a mark you need to work from a set height and to avoid going for the lowest reading as you will risk missing the tube. Could anybody explain this more as i've not had to find a mark on a banking yet and have avoided them so far

My main permission is the partridge shoot my brother keepers so iv only just been able to get free run of the place really. Il be going when ever he asks

Couldnt be more pleased with her Lukey. Not done a huge amount because of working in the week and most weekends. Had a few wobbles along the way but stepping up to the mark now

By trade a chippy but do alot of other building work. Much better than keepering which is what i used ot do! Work is slow at the moment though

Mine snapped off ages ago and i cant find the one i got from the game fair in the summer (thats why you should fix things straight away!) Any idea where to get them off the internet? i cant seem to find them on the air arms website or blackpool guns

i was a keeper but now work for a property developer doing alsorts of building work. Retraining or chaninging to something rural wont give you more time to get out and about though, agricultural jobs ect mean longer hours and usually worse pay! Just my opionion. I moved from keepering to what im doing now because i started really disliking shooting and vermin control so i quit and got into something totallt different to keep my hobbys completly seperaete from my work

Terrible show of boxing, the useless lump. To be honest though if you were expecting a fight as good as all the hype had made out then you were always gunna be disappointed!!
