    Used to be a keeper but packed that in. Was all fun and games to start with but then you soon realise its not just running round the countryside shooting and trapping vermin. That comes at the very bottom of the very long list of things to do. Shit pay, no respect and even worse hours. I started HATING shooting and still dont enjoy it now as much as i used to. Now i work for my mtoehr in law who is a property developer. Started just as a £50 a day dogs body but now learnt alot more skills so can charge more money.     Plenty of quality russells out there but they do real graft not messing for rabbits and rats How close minded of you...so Just because I don't dig that means me and my dogs are less and just "messing around" I think that's terrible... a dog should be judged on how it works on the job its been given not judged because of size of prey btw mine are also used to flush foxes out of bales after harvest suppose that's just messing around to.... next you will be telling I shouldn't be hunting as I'm female! with regards to your terriers not doing the job they were breed for then

    certainly had a way getting a dog walk on a lead i was dragging of his hes a good man, spent god knows how many nights at his necking whiskey(his shots take some beating!! ), then sleeping in a bloody stable, i swear he used to put us inbetween the stallions and an inseason mare on purpose and then a mooch checking the earths/artificials around his place.. had some good times lamping around his place too with him and his nephew cutis many years ago. a very knowledgable man i did some work for him about a month back when he got some dogs knicked from his kennels.     people that slow to rediculus speeds going over spped bumps in 30mph zones. They are desgined so that you can go over them at 30 and only give you a good old rattle when you go over the limit!!!     not had mine walk off the job when shes been up to the quarry. I ug a rabbit with her when she was very young, also dug to her tryng her best to dig on. When she was younger she would run round in circles in biggger places trying to find anything which got a it annoying. But these things aint failing in my eyes, just showing keenness.     i stepped under the ropes after showing in 1 class and 4 young lads took exception to me not saying excuse me even though they wher`nt in my way - they followed me to my land rover giving it large all the way then they saw my mates 2 18 stoners and the big fella 24 stone and backed off if only they`d had a couple more of thr stella carry outs could of been interesting . some shows do attract thr fair share of dick heads thats the working dog game for you ... yep the tracksuit warriors and the people with cars full of entries for every class which you see at every other show
