Have you seen the old video of a dogo killing a puma?yeh, but in a wild state not in a cage , a puma would kill dogo no prob, when truly wild and hunting for food ,there no dog could leave with one it don't matter what the breed, pitbull, kangal etc if the puma was hunting for food and that dog was there no people to intervene 1 dead dog think you need to watch the vid with the dogo called morocho Is that the one where the girl climbs the fruit tree to find a puma? The dogs kills the puma to save her? Sure it's something along they lines but I'm sure they looking for fruit,

I like hand mincers, cheap and easy to clean and you don't risk some dickhead sticking their hand in the bloody thing while it's going to clear a blockage. Depends on quantity though, if you're doing big batches you'll end up with arms like Arnold

I was out with a lad who ran his dog into the ground at the end of last season. Collapsed. Trembling. Looked on deaths door. I carried her to the motor ASAP and got to a 24hr garage and got a bottle of lucozade isotonic. The still stuff. Half the bottle given over the space of about 20 mins saw her stood up and walking about. I was amazed. Gluscose and time to cool down work wonders.Yeah that's it. It was a combination of heat and over exertion as well, they took off up a big hill after a pig and by the time he got to em they were in a bad way. Had to carry the two dogs 5kms back to the tru

If you fellas get a chance, wallaby meat is pretty tasty and real lean. I shoot them off the lamp for farmers a lot over here. Make good tucker for the dogs too

I use the recharge tablets, cheap and fool proof. Had a mate nearly lose two dogs two weeks ago and the recharge tabs were the only thing that saved em. Both collapsed and were trembling

you tried your best mate , we put up with few things maybe be what we don't like with working dogs, but if there if there ticking the boxes for us and give 100% at there quarry what ever that may be .But when a dog tries to bite the hand that feeds it, that the end of the line for that animal deff , but as you say it was night wired up right in the brain it was just bad luck . ive looked at my big dog Buck few times , thinking if he ever went funny = nasty he prob make real mess of you /me with his size and bloody bite he got on him, but he thank feck big soft wimpy thing , and

Yeah it was rough, and even rougher when 30 seconds later he was back to tail wagging and being your mate. Only reason I took him to the vet instead popping him myself was I just couldn't do it. Call me soft but I've had to put down a lot of good dogs myself over the years due to injuries and old age and this time I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Cheers fellas appreciate it

First working dog I had was a blue heeler my uncle gave me. Taught it to work cattle and was a great dog til the day he died. First hunting dog I got was a bullarab when I was 14 for hunting pigs, he died at 3 when went on a hunting trip up in the Northern Territory and he chased a pig into a river and got taken by a croc

Pure bred saluki bitch. God she was a bloody headache, so hot and cold. If she was just plain useless it would have been so much easier to get rid of her but 1 out 5 nights she'd have an absolute belter and outclass my other dogs and then the other 4 she'd chase them at a trot! In the end I got her spayed and gave her to a good friend of mine who always asked me about her as a pet

Yeah it's the first one I've had but I spoke to some mates who breed a lot since I don't breed my own dogs usually and they said they've seen it every now and then, especially with tight bred lines. Some photos of him a week before he passed.

The day he passed away he measured 32 inches tts and 40km at 10 months was a big strong dog and was starting to show some serious hunting potential

So January of this year I picked up a 2 month old aussie staghound, the line I chose essentially being a greyhound wolfhound. From the moment he came home Jaeger was a handful I felt like something was wrong, but just put it down to him being a puppy. The first two weeks he howled non stop and for the rest of his life he whimpered at everything. As he grew he become a nightmare, destroying everything, refusing to listen, attacking other dogs etc. Now, all these things one would normally attribute to poor training however I spent hours a day working with this dog attempting to remedy the situat

Best Pic Of One Of Your Lurcher
Red Center replied to the big chief's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
is the bull x in it pit bull? -
have driven 1600km to pick up a pup. If it's the pup you want it's the pup you want doesn't matter how far away it is
-
Bull Arab has a whole lot more in it than just pointer and bully greyhound. Dane, foxhound, mastiff etc have all gone into the breed to the point where it now breeds to type. Pointer x's have been popular lately though, this pic is my mate's pointer x staghound
