    How's that ferret going on pal ? The other 2 are doing great. Nice animals. Could do with borrowing a really small white hob for mating. You are still welcome at my house anytime passing.

    Yes chicken_man. The young lad we have with us now, Jack, has been shown the right way to put purse nets back In the sack. His dad, Wayne, RIP, a gamekeeper. This lad doesn't take a lot of teaching other than the incurable disease of the mobile phone. Ah well, time will tell. Gaz and myself are are fairly patient kind of folks.

    My mate Gaz is the baby when it comes to the long nets. What a knack. Best thing about it is that they never, ever, come out with snags. He is meticulous when putting them away. Only way to go.

    Long nets. Had similar senario and they did the business. Bury was about 100 yds so purse nets were a no starter.

    Right son. Been with Gaz for a dinner time drink and he agrees that a get together is on the cards. I imagine rabbits will be the main theme followed by dinner at my place. Morning rabbiting and then the pub. Home. Soon good?

    Well my friend. All I need now is a right good small, working, white, hob, she is a belter and we couldn't wish for a better worker. At one time of day we called them jockeys. The rabbit literally bolted with the little fella on it's neck. Anyone in the area, with a proven line, are welcome to give me a shout. I know rake Aboot could sort me but it's a bit of a trip.

    Thought I'd put a little aside on here. Heard about monkeys falling down trees??? Made a nice batch of faggots and couldn't help but taste one. Forgot to put the herbs in. How schoolboy is that. Anyway, marked them up as meatloaf. Still taste nice.

    That's been a long few months. Layers and mixed corn do not come cheap so the odd half dozen has been a little off putting. However. Last few days 7/8 and this morning 13. The girls look very good and at last seem happy. 18 turned out to be 17 with the pure bred Cream Legbar cockerel which to be fair I quite like. Happy days.

    I can tell you now that these fellas had to get through a 50mm hole to either get to bed or to dinner. They didn't have no problems. I imagine a rabbit bury doesn' t have any sort of problem simply because a rabbit and a ferret side by side solves the question. Also, I remember digging a Charlie and he managed a burry hole that you could barely get your hand through. Ferrets will get anywhere regardless of size.

    Well that's it. Gaz has collected his box and seen my ideas for w Katchum. I think he agreed not a bad idea so am going for it. Should be done middle of the week. I'll put up some pics as I go on.jok.
