    A mate told me the other day he's heard somone in our village is charging £2 K for Bulldog cross Shih tzu pups.. I sad that's bull shit!!! There's a bloke down the road with a litter of Jack Russell's cross Shih tzu's.. and want's jack shit for them!!........ ( tumbleweed emoji require!!)... ?

    Never had any bother there mate, early doors midweek... literally see nobody. Wind dictates where you'll find. I like to stop at Fairbrook Naze for a sarnie and pull on the flask. Belting spot there.. Kinder top right, A57 down in the valley.. From the same spot looking over to Bleaklow.. Were lucky to have it on our doorstep!!?

    Ahh.. nice that mate!! Funnily enough... I've just been within a stones throw of Bolsover on the bike. Cut through Scarcliffe woods, that's a belting spot for a few of those critters..?

    I got advised to bite the tubeless bullet mate by lads that have been riding seriously for a long time. I'm sorry pal, but I'm not experienced enough to advise on exactly what tyre combo to go for. I'll be in the same boat myself come the autumn as my current rubber has about run it's course!! Only pointer i can give you are the tyres I'm currently running, came new on my Canyon.. it's their combo of choice, so obviously a great deal of though must have gone into it. The bike is a Carbon Exceec... fairly light XC flyer, so those tyres are paired for that type of riding.

    I've just replied mate.. and its got lost in space by looks of it!!? Do it pal, lighter.. faster.. seals some decent holes, for me anyway. If it ain't broke... don't fixit it though as they say... Been tubeless 2 year now and not had a problem yet.. 100 percent no flats!!

    Get a bike with a decent frame mate.., but, the most important thing imo.. is the group set/ gear set!!! That's the bits that move constantly and does all the work. Somthing reliable.. that won't need constant tweeking and attention!! Just let you enjoy your riding as after all... that's what it's all about pal... plus some strave KOM's...??

    Cornwall is amazing mate. Last few times we've been down, we've stayed at Pentewan sands, on the south coast... can't recommend it enough. Stayed allover to be honest, but the good thing is wherever you anchor up... you're never too far from anywhere if a ride out in the car is your thing. Cider... pasties... beaches and if you're from the North.. more than likely better weather that what you're used to!! P.s.... the best Cornish pasties are from Salcombe in Devon!!!?

    Token photo from yesterday's bbq, would have been rude not to with the cracking weather! That's about the 3rd round of meat on.. Pork and Lamb. I reckon that must number 7 or 8 for the year now. Got to make the most of every nice day now.. not got a clue if we're going to manage to get any holidays in this year with the current situ!! This is as close as a holiday as we're going to get for a while!!?
